Clinical
Personal Care Attendant/Caregiver (PCA/Caregiver)
The position is a part-time or full-time hourly position. The primary role of the personal care attendant or caregiver is to provide non-medical assistance with activities of daily living. These activities include, but are not limited to, assistance with mobility, meal preparation, medication reminders, bathing, grooming, daily hygiene, toileting and incontinence, light housekeeping, laundry, companionship, cognitive assistance, running errands, and contributing to a positive living environment to enhance the members quality of life and overall independence. A PCA must adhere to the schedule and provide services in the member’s home as authorized in the member’s approved Individual Plan of Care (IPoC). The PCA must use an electronic visit verification system at the start and completion of every visit.
The PCA completes state mandated training upon hire and annually, such as incident reporting. Every PCA must pass a National Criminal History Screening Background Check and complete a two hour orientation prior to employment. Additional requirements are based on the member’s needs and service model which may include medical screening, additional training initial and annual training requirements, possession of a driver’s license and insurance (if the PCA will transport the member).
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
A CNA is a part time or full-time hourly position. A CNA provides care to patients under the VCA program. They help patients by supporting personal hygiene and daily living needs. A CNA provides comfort and transportation for patients. A CNA assists with or provides patients’ personal hygiene by assisting with toileting, bathing needs, shaving, applying lotion and providing therapeutic back rubs. A CNA assists with patient ambulation and helps with patient transfers and lifts. They also provide aid with patients’ activities of daily living (ADLs) by preparing and serving meals, feeding patients as necessary, turning and repositioning patients to prevent skin breakdown and providing fresh water and nourishment between meals.
CNAs maintain patient stability by checking vital signs and weight and recording intake and output information. They also provide patient care by utilizing resources and materials, and reporting observations related to patient conditions or changes in condition to the RN. CNAs are responsible for maintaining their licensure. It is within their scope of practice to carry out any tasks that an HHA or homemaker can accomplish, if it is allowed as specified, for the type of patient they are caring for. CNAs are expected to understand that patients are serviced through various programs and must understand the various rules and regulations pertaining to each program
Admin
Community Supports Coordinator
This position is a full-time position. The schedule is worked from 8 am to 4 pm with an hour lunch break. Tasks associated with this position are to assist the plan administrators in maintaining member compliance regarding to level of care, authorizations, and eligibility. This position is also responsible for developing and maintaining all members IPoC’s. The PAA position assists the plan administrators with all member compliance and record keeping in addition to all correspondence with the managed care organization (MCO) and members. Other general tasks include helping new members obtain service, producing monthly record reports, assuring member compliance, filing incident reports, assisting member care coordinators, maintaining all member supervisory visits, assisting members with appeals, and working with anything associated or pertaining to the members. The PAA is also responsible for communicating between the member’s physician, physician assistant, nurse, case manager, service coordinator, care coordinator, MCO, VA, and all clinical and non-clinical personnel associated with the member. This position reports directly to the Director of Community Supports.

- Track and analyze sales performance, delivering actionable insights to boost ROI
- Co-lead the branch, energizing the team to hit business goals while ensuring top-notch compliance

Training:
All employees are required to complete a two hour one-on-one orientation prior to starting their employment with Inteli-Care.
Personal Care Attendants (PCA’s)/Caregivers are also required to pass a criminal background check, a TB test, and pass a CPR & First Aid certification course. In addition each Personal Care Attendant (PCA)/Caregiver is required to complete 12 hours of training per calendar year.
